ALWAYS INVITING AND RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS
WHY FUNDRAISE -
In order to give our students the best educational experience possible, fundraising has become a necessary part of supporting our schools!
67% of the 2024-2025 PAC budget goes directly back to supporting students by, including but not limited to:
Funds given directly to teachers and staff (both as grade level support and as grants)
Providing various grade level assemblies
Fostering equity with FREE backpacks and school supplies to those who qualify, winter holiday support and subsidies for spirit wear.
Organizing events that help connect students & parents with peers and community and academic enrichment opportunities like math and reading nights.
Funding for grade level field trips.
Enrichment programs like art literacy, passport club and chess club.

HOW WE FUNDRAISE -
As the only Title 1 school in Sherwood, Hawks View relies on both family & corporate support to help us create equitable experiences for all our students.
EVENT FUNDRAISERS
PAC holds two annual fundraisers, Fun Run (September 27, 2024) and Carnival (in the spring - May 2, 2025).
BOTTLEDROP
On various weekends throughout the year, we also hold a BottleDrop drive where community members can donate their soda cans and glass bottles. The revenue from participating in Oregon's BottleDrop accounts for roughly 11% of our income budget. Calendar of weekend is HERE.
DINNER NIGHT OUT (DNO)
Roughly once a month we have opportunities to eat out at community restaurants who generously donate back a percentage (anywhere from 20 - 100%) of their revenue when we frequent their establishment. Thank you to Langer's Entertainment Center, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream, MOD Pizza, Red Robin, Chipotle, Araceli's Cocina, Kona Ice and Panada Express who have all scheduled dinner nights out with us.
FIVE MINUTE FUNDRAISERS
Small consistent acts add up. From designating our organization in your Fred Meyer community rewards or downloading the Box Tops app - when we all come together, each individual contribution can add up to a BIG impact!
